This is how Porsche advertised the complete new engineered new 911…the 964.
Still based on the typical 911 genes, the 964 brings a lot more comfort and new technical standards like powersteering, ABS, 4WD which was taken from the experience Porsche made with the famous 959. Still looking like the typical 911 silhouette, the 964 is a more than 80% new engineered 911.
Here is a Collection of the funniest Porsche 964 we found on the Internet.
This 1 owner 964 is a very well taken care of 964 C2 (C2 = rearwheeldrive; C4 = 4WD was an option).
The first owner bought it in Germany and took it with him to Italy, where it passed his first 30 years with him untill today. Everything is still as it left the factory. Even the floors still wear the factory sealing. This 964 had all his services made (proven by bills and service book) at Porsche Italy.
This autumn the 964 had it`s big inspection done where it also got new tires and everything was checked for full function. The wishbones are still the originals only all sockets from the axles / drivetrain are completely new.
The complete floors and all parts underneath are only cleaned with dried ice, but still show the original factory sealing.
For cosmetical reasons, the first owner decided in 2014 to repaint the car in it`s original colour maritime blue metallic L35V. The all around measurement shows a thickness of paint in the range of 240µm to 290µm.
Porsche Classic specialists call this 964 a beautifull, accidentfree survivor ready to go with the new second owner.
